Diving
DIVING IS TOP FOR SEA LOVERS.
IT’S THE BEST WAY TO EXPLORE UNDERWATER LIFE AND GET EXCITED OF ITS INHABITANTS.
HOW IT WORKS
In order to dive, you must be equipped with oxygen that allow you to breathe underwater for a long time. You can dive to a depth of 5 to 30 meters.
If you don’t have a diving license, you can dive with a qualified instructor, who will accompany you to a depth of 5/10 meters. You can see many amazing things as well.
Those who have a diving license already know how it works, so I’ll tell you what happens during the so-called “water initiation”, i.e. your first scuba dive:
The instructor gives a detailed explanation of how the equipment works and how the dive will take place and gives you all the necessary information both about the behaviour in the water and about the planned itinerary.
Once underwater, you will no longer be able to communicate except by gestures, so this is the right time to ask for everything not clear 😉
During the dive the instructor is always with you and indicates plants or animals that are worth observing, perhaps hidden among some rocks.
The difficulty of a dive may depend on the weather and currents, but the water initiations usually take place in optimal conditions, so as to give you the opportunity not to think about anything else but to enjoy the show.
So … enjoy!
WHEN AND WHERE TO GO
All year round you can dive in different countries of the world.
It depends on what you want to see: sharks? South Africa in December; manta rays? Indonesia in August, …
It is certainly preferable to dive where the water has a bearable temperature, but there are also wetsuits capable of sheltering from the cold and allowing longer dives even at lower temperatures.
